About House of Austin

A trading terminal built by people who use one

House of Austin was founded in Celje by a small team with a single conviction: investors deserve a system they can fully understand and control.

How House of Austin came to exist

The frustration was specific: platforms that automated trades but hid the logic behind them.

House of Austin was registered in Slovenia in 2021 by a team of three — a software engineer with a background in financial data systems, a former equity analyst, and a risk modeller who had spent eight years in institutional trading operations. The three had a shared frustration with retail trading platforms: automation was available, but the logic driving it was opaque. You could switch a bot on; you could not interrogate it. After a year of internal development and a six-month private beta with twelve volunteer traders in Ljubljana, Maribor, and Celje, the first public version of the terminal launched in early 2023. Since then, the platform has processed more than 2.4 million order evaluations and served clients across eleven EU member states. The team remains based in Celje, with product and engineering decisions made locally. No outside investors have taken a stake; the product roadmap is driven by user feedback and the team's own trading practice.

What the platform does — and where it stops

Understanding the limits is as important as understanding the capabilities.

The House of Austin terminal automates the execution of rules that you define. It does not generate trading ideas, select instruments on your behalf, or allocate capital without a rule you have explicitly written and activated. The backtesting engine shows you how your rules would have performed on historical data; it does not predict future performance, and no metric in the terminal should be read as a forecast. Market conditions change, and a rule set that performed well in one regime may perform poorly in another — the audit log and dry-run tools exist precisely so you can detect that shift early and adjust your configuration. The platform is designed for investors who are comfortable reading a trade log and willing to take responsibility for their own rule sets. If you are looking for a system that makes decisions for you without your ongoing involvement, this terminal is not the right fit. Support is available Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:00 CET, via email and the in-app chat. We do not offer telephone trading support or investment advice.
