Feature overview

Every lever is yours to set

The House of Austin terminal exposes its full configuration surface — no hidden defaults, no opaque weighting that overrides your rules.

Why configuration depth matters

A tool you cannot inspect is a tool you cannot trust — especially when capital is at stake.

Automation without transparency is noise dressed as signal. House of Austin was built on the premise that a serious investor needs to see the full state of the system at any moment: which rules are active, which positions they govern, what limits are currently in force, and what the last 50 executions looked like. The indigo-tech dashboard makes this information immediately accessible without requiring you to navigate away from the live view. Every configuration change is time-stamped and stored in a readable audit log, so you can correlate a settings adjustment with its downstream effect on performance.

Feature detail

Each capability is documented fully in the knowledge base; below is a summary of what you get and how it behaves.

Tick-level data feed

Connects to six EU-regulated venue feeds simultaneously. The normalisation layer aligns timestamps to UTC and flags any gap exceeding 200 milliseconds. You can inspect the raw feed alongside the normalised output to confirm the adjustment logic.

Rule editor with dry-run mode

Rules are composed from a library of conditional operators — price, volume, time, indicator value, position state. Before activating a new rule, the dry-run engine replays it against the last 30 days of live feed data and shows you every signal it would have generated.

Pre-order risk enforcement

Risk limits are evaluated at order construction time. If a proposed order would breach a daily loss limit or push a position beyond its exposure cap, the order is cancelled and a timestamped alert is written to the log. No exceptions, no overrides.

Portfolio ledger and API

The portfolio view updates in real time as fills arrive. A REST API with OAuth2 authentication lets you pull position data, P&L snapshots, and trade history into your own spreadsheet or reporting tool. Rate limits are generous: 1,000 calls per minute on all paid plans.

Historical backtest engine

Tick-level data stretches back to January 2014 for covered instruments. The backtest engine models variable spread, exchange fees, and partial fill scenarios. Results are presented as an equity curve with annotated drawdown periods so you can identify which market regimes hurt your strategy.

Execution audit log

Every order attempt — whether it succeeds, is blocked by a risk rule, or is rejected by the venue — is recorded with a microsecond timestamp, the triggering rule ID, and the market state at the moment of decision. Exportable as JSON or CSV.

“The dry-run feature alone saved me from deploying a flawed entry rule. I ran it over six months of data and found it would have triggered on news spikes I had not accounted for. I fixed the condition before touching live capital — that kind of control is exactly what I needed.”

Common questions about the terminal

Straightforward answers — no marketing language.

Does the terminal place orders automatically without my confirmation?

Only if you explicitly activate automated execution for a given strategy. By default, every signal generates an alert and waits for your manual confirmation. You can switch a strategy between alert-only and fully automated modes at any time, and the change takes effect on the next signal cycle.

Which brokers and venues are supported?

The terminal currently connects to four EU-regulated brokers via FIX protocol and one via REST. The supported list is published in the knowledge base and is updated when new integrations are certified. If your current broker is not listed, you can request an integration assessment through the contact form.

What happens if my internet connection drops mid-session?

The terminal runs server-side for all active automated strategies. A connection drop on your device does not interrupt strategy execution. You receive an email notification if the session is interrupted, and you can reconnect and review the execution log to see exactly what happened during the outage.

Is there a limit on how many strategies I can run simultaneously?

The Start plan supports up to three concurrent active strategies. The Pro plan raises this to twelve. The Enterprise plan has no fixed limit, subject to a fair-use assessment at onboarding. Risk controls apply independently to each active strategy, so your daily loss limit can be set at the strategy level as well as the account level.

Inspect the system before you commit

The 14-day trial gives you full access to the rule editor, backtesting engine, and audit log — with simulated execution so no real orders are placed.
